FILLINGS
A filling is a treatment for a tooth that has been damaged by decay. Fillings restore teeth back to normal function and shape while preventing further decay. Often fillings are called resin composites, or tooth-colored fillings, are a mixture of glass or quartz filler that provide good durability and resistance to fracture in small-to mid-size fillings that need to withstand moderate pressure from chewing. They can be used on either front or back teeth.
COSMETIC BONDING:
Cosmetic Bonding is a procedure that uses a composite resin that looks and feels just like the enamel on your tooth. The composite material can be used to fill in chips or to add length or width to a tooth to achieve the size and shape you desire. The look you want can be achieved in just one visit. Dr. Dounski will determine the size, shape, and color of the bonding you want. Then he will directly apply the composite material to your tooth and use a curing light to harden the material.
